recommendation peace officer

I just filled out a recommendation for correctional and peace officer, the city of rancho cucamonga sent me. It specifically says does this person use marijuana, then it goes on to say illegal drugs. Does this mean marijuana is not an illegal drug. Or are they singling out the mj users? It never once asks if this person drinks alcohol, smokes cigarettes, is a child-molester, rapist, murderer, bank robber, prostitute, has anger issues and other professions people look down on.

hey gen, grow over...all my stuff to a friend I just got this crazy idea? Gotta quit growing for awhile...Why take a total loss...So I approached a friend I thought might be interested in procuring the grow, and Bam...All gone. peace of mind...veggies only, this summer.
