I don't think the system "promotes" as much as making people aware. I don't agree with man/man relationships but I don't think they need an ass whoopin', or blacks, or mexicans, etc....

That's what our schools do. They have to by law. Otherwise, they are discrimintory. But, they aren't allowed to teach the Bible. So, it's ok to discriminate against Bible believers but not against homsexuality.

You want the bible taught in public schools? There are a lot of other religions being followed in the U.S.A. and all them people are also tax payers. You want the bible you need to teach it all objectively.

Public school of any kind is not for my child. Been there, done that. Never again!
If you spend the time for the home schooling I think it's great. The problem is that a lot of parents sit their kids in front of the t.v. or computor and use it for a baby sitter. We would have a generation of dumb asses for sure!

I don't mean to flame so hard about this subject but it's reality for me....one of my buddies has a little girl that has been missing now for about 3 years. She was on her way home from school and never made it.
