i got a great deal and bought my current car for about $800. So one day im driving, and the person infront of me is turning left, so they stop, and im behind them and its only a 2 lane road (1 lane for each direction) and this huge SUV apparently is too fuckin dumb to realize we were stopped and he slams into me. well.....anyways i got like $1500 to repair my car with (yea right like im gunna spend the 1500 on my car hehe) and also i get all these spa treatments cuz my back got fucked up

tsk tsk...white america makes me queasy. today i got rear-ended by a taxi-cab driver on Massachusetts Blvd NW in DC (its an infamous road for traffic and pedestrians getting hit). this is probably ther third time i have been involved in an accident with a cabby. there was no profound damage done, so i just shook his hand and told him to forget it even happened. he left a few scratches, but my car is in such bad shape, it only adds to the character. :rasta:

OMG the roundabouts on Mass are the worst cause NOBODY yeilds! NOBODY! then there will be an accident right in the middle of the circle and they detours will take an extra 15 mintues to get through. and those rich snobs on Dupont go driving thier huge lincolns, thinking they have the right of way and hit every other pedestrian.

i was in my college (i live on long island) so basically a good amount of the students who attend the school are of upper middle class regarding income, myself included.

so anyway, i was in my car in a parking spot, and i see out of my rear view mirror that this SUV was going to park in the empty spot to the right of me.

I think to myself, "she seems kind of close.."

that's when she hit, sort of like when the titanic hit the iceberg, she just kinda scraped the side of my car a little bit and left like a black marking/tiny scratch on my passenger side car.

we both get out of our cars and i basically lay it on her..i was angry but at the same time i was somewhat nice about the whole thing.

the girl ends up freaking out and is telling me how her parents will get really mad and bla bla bla

seeinng as how she looked like a rich long island girl i asked her if she could throw me some money right now and we can forget the entire thing ever happenened. In my mind I honestly didn't care to much she hit my car, it's my first car and it already has some dings and dents in it anyway.

I tell her just to give me 300$ and she says alright, so I walk with her to my schools ATM.

she took the money out, gave me 350$ actually, she said she felt bad, haha.

So hear I am with an extra 350$ in my pocket.

What do i do?

Called my dealer and bought an ounce of dank for 300$

Dupont Circle is the worst. It's red, then it's turns to yield, and you have nowhere to go. I always hit my head when I take that wrong turn and end up going through that damn circle.

I know a friend of a friend who got hit by a taxi driver. He was working checking parking meters, and all the sudden this taxi just hit and flipped him onto the hood. Luckily he wasn't going that fast and he was all right.

heck yes i avoid dupont as much as possible. what i ahte about DC are the lights. there will be two within 1ooft and t one will turn green and as soon as you get going the next one will turn red. during rush hour ill just be sitting there cause the lights are so damn fickle that as soon as the cars up front have moved throught the green light, it turns red and im still left sitting there. dupont is a sexy place to live, but i hate the traffic
