    Vaporizers Revisited...

I've tried to do a lot of research on different vaporizers, but keep coming back to the Volcano & Vapzilla being the best products. JMO, but Happy Vappy is a joke; save your money and make a vaporizer; the thing is really simple, but actually amounts to nothing more than a small chamber that your product is placed in after letting it warm up, waiting about 30 sec, then placing a Teflon mouthpiece in it and drawing on it. No heat control, no screen.
Supposedly, the Volcano is a great device, but from reading different forums & info, it seems that some users think it's uses more product & is more appropriate for groups; not sure about that claim. Vapzilla obviously won the 2005 High Times product award & seems to be flying high, with digital heat control & supposed economy of product being a big thing according to some users.
The thing is, Volcano [company] seems to be completely upfront, and has been around for quite a while now.
Vapzilla seems to have only one outlet for purchase, but IMO, much of their advertising & use of multiple websites smacks of a snake oil salesman. That I don't like, and it makes me suspicious of the company as a whole, and who knows that all these discussions on different forums touting the great features of Vapzilla aren't employees or whatever of Wicked Roots.
I'm partial to Volcano, but, Vapzilla seems to be doing well.
I realize this is what you'd call a "perennial" topic, but 'ya know, some topics need to be, as there's new info & new products all the time.

i have a volcano.. it kicks ass... and as far as using more product... total bullshit, it uses way, way less product!!!!.. way less.. it will pay for it's self from the weed savings...

i also have a herbalaire, and it is more portable and i would reccomend it to anybody..
www.GreatVape.com is herbalaire... it looks like the happy vappy but it's not the same thing it's totally different... email them and ask questions they are chill people with great customer service..

Yeah - I have a Volcano too, and no complaints - if it does use more gear, its only because I choose that it does....

I had a couple of cheapo vapo's for a while, and was never impressed - almost to the point where I thought all the forum posts were hype (like people going on and on about iPods because they were trying to justify why they brought one!).... but then when the Volcano arrived ... BOOM!

The main advantage over the Vapzilla is that it IS more group friendly - but a group is not necessary to get the best of it!!!

I used to be a one man band until I split up because of musical differences!

I hear what you all are saying, and believe it. I wrote 'em last night with some questions, and I had an e-mail by 10am today. If something ain't broke, don't fix it, and I think that's the case with the Volcano. It's possible they'll change it a little in the future, but the basic unit remains very solid.
In the reply I received, it was stated that the unit is made to medical grade quality, and uses the same quality components.

Only about 3/4 months .... not had any problems with it, nor seen any deteriation in performance - and friends still come round and say "Shit man, what is that" ..... but then, to be honest, for the money, I would expect it to last a fair while .. even at my rates of consumption!!
