Sea of Green
WTG! youve just had some of the best respond to you (not talkin about me ima noob). but the reason im getting back at you is because i live in LA Ca and here the law says you can have up to 8 oz of finished smoke for medicinal uses and grow for yourself 12 hunies with 6 being "mature" so im limited to just 12 (6 in veggy state and 6 in flower) BUT this aspect gives me an excellent opprotunity to try a couple different approaches. when growing outside all growers will tell you "bigger is better" but they are not limited by either space or light and depending on the growing season will take from 6-10 mo. now the Hydro Gods will tell you almost to a T SOG (Sea Of Green) - short hydroponic bushys grown under HIDs - as little as 2 months in veggy and 2 months in flower requiring a larger # of plants to obtain a larger # of buds in a shorter amount of time. since time is not an issue my problem was simple - how do i get a equal # of buds from a smaller # of plants - simple...LEGNTHEN the time GROW bigger plants and by tying down and pruning increase light penetration to obtain the maximum # of colas. using this appraoch ill be able to increase the veg stage from 2 mo to 4 with my 1st set of six and the second set will have 6 mo in veg. after i complete this phase THEN when the SOG concept is appilied i will be able to give the definative awnser..."which is better"
