Getting Dense buds...........

Hey everyone,

I have always been an outdoor guy but the nugs that i ended up with always seemed to be really fluffy. So, i figured if i tried an indoor i would get some denser nugs because of the pictures i had seen on this forum. Well the time has passed and i am nearly finished with my first indoor. But as some of you know i had to chop the main kola of my baby because of rot or something, so i have had it drying for about 4 days and it feels really crunchy but the stem still bends so ive thrown it in a jar to cure. It doesnt smell very nice but im hoping that will be fixed with the cure. Anyway, it looks EXACTLY the same as my outdoors, still very fluffy, and looks nothing like the bud you can get at medicann. My question is how do i get that rock solid dense bud, that reaks like skunk? Does how dense it is have to do with nutes? PH? Humidity? or anything else.... If anyone knows it would be really great to know.

100W HPS will do the trick.

I flowered it under a 400w HPS. lol still fluffy as hell....

A cool tube will allow you to lower the lights and get closer to those juicy fruits. The closer the light the more intesnse it will be, and this will create denser nugs.

This wont burn the buds? A 400w HPS with a cool tube? How closes should i have it to the top kola? What is the best known fert for flowering in soil?

It will only burn them if you get too close. How do you know how close to get? Make sure you have proper ventilation and test the temps using your hand or thermometer before you walk away.

Best fert? Many will answer differently, use the search function and you might find an answer.
