I figured a 1000W would give more yield but how much. Is it worth the extra $ ?

I've got a pretty big room (20 X 20).

I'm planning on getting 3 lights to start with and Iâ??m not sure how many plants I could fit under each lamp. Iâ??m cloning my best females as we speak. (White widow for me, Afghani and big bud superskunk for the rest â?¦)

Given the option to buy a Mustang, you can select either the V6 engine, or the baddass, tunable, upgradable, historic, legendary and emotional V8... Now, here's the reasoning:::

You only buy the V6 Mustang because of:
A- Your budget only allows the V6
B- You're the biggest imbecile in the face of our planet Earth.

So, if reason A isn't a problem, it's pretty obvious how many cylinders you'll end up with.

How much more yield (% or grams) should I expect from getting a 1000W instead of a 600W ?

Since the 1000W is way more expensive, I want to see if itâ??s worth.

that depends on how many plants you are going to grow if you are going for maximun plants per light which is i think 15to 20 plants per 1000 watts then i dont think the diffarence would be much more than a 600 watts per maximun plants ,i think as im not to sure about this that the bigger wattage means more plants rather than bigger yeild,but then again if you are growing 5 plants with a 1000 watt then you would probibaly get maximun yeild considering you had correct ferts and soil and ph and all the rest so if you are not bothering about price go with the 1000 watt then you cant go wrong it depends on what YOU want and i hope i havent confused you more as only trying to help but best of luck as you will greatly enjoy your new hobby :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I guess I wanted to grow bigger plant instead of the sea of green technique so maybe 7 plants per light.

If anyone know more about the 600 W VS 1000 W, please feel free to share the info.

I started with a 400 HPS for flower and changed up to 1000HPS. More than doubled my results. More than enough for my 4' x 6' room. It kicks ass. More light more better more buds. Wish I had your room . You need about 3 or 4 1000's and some light movers and a ass load of plants. A 1000 will cover 7 x 7 to 8 x 8 foot square. Yield will be the most you can get if other things are right too.
