Looking to upgrade my lighting but need help

Three weeks into my first grow and I have been vegging 2 NL under a 125w blue envirolite, they are looking mighty fine even if I do say so myself

It is now time for an upgrade in preperation for flowering. Im am growing in a walk in closet there is about 10 square feet of floorspace by about 7 foot high. I have divided it in two so my light is more concentrated. The divide runs up about 5 foot of the closet.

Ventilation at the moment is provided by a single PC fan blowing in air from the side of the closet that is not used for growing. The door on this side has mostly been left open to improve airflow to my plants.

I am concerned about heat levels so my question is should I add a 125w red enviro. Or would I get away with a 250w HPS?

Are the heat levels off 250w of each light system going to be similar anyway?
Or is HPS really that hot?

I think you'll be fine with a 250.

250 watts of floros is not the same as 250 watts of HID lighting. HIDs are way more efficient at converting electricity to light. Watts is a measure of electricity consumed. Just because floros are consuming the same wattage doesn't mean they are producing the same amount of light.

Go with HID's whenever possible.
