Feeding Question

Well I was wondering...When I start growing how big should the container be that holds my water? Also would water from Meijers be good? (lol), and the last question is, should I pour my water in a container and only put the nutes in when I get ready to water my plants or should I add the nutrients in at the same time and also in the same container I am using to store my water?

Ok, I haven't done it yet, but...

Meijers water... no idea what that is.

If you can get a RO (Reverse Osmosis) filter, that'd be best... although it isn't a "must".

As to making the nutrient mix...
You should get your container (say, 5 gallons?)... fill it up with water, and mix in the nutrients in the order specified in the directions... General Hydroponics nutrients have a specific mixing order... if you don't follow it, something called "nutrient lock-out" can/will occur.

Do you have meters? TDS, ppm, EC, pH meter(s)?

No I dont have any meters, I would greatly appreciate it if you would make a list of the things I would need for feeding. I dont really need help with anything but the feeding such as nutrients, how much to give the plants (in mL and all that crap), meters and all that other stuff. Also with the nutrient mixing, I'm asking should I get like a big container and mix the water and nutrients in there and when I used all that mix up watering my plants should I fill it back up with the same percentage of nutes that I used before?

Stuff needed for feeding::: Soil or hydro?
If you're doing hydro, you can check out General Hydroponics (GH) 3 part nutrients (nutes). Advanced Nutrients also kicks ass... from what I read.

For soil... I don't know.... bat guano... Schultz Cactus Juice (Home Depot), SuperTHRIVE, etc.

Um, I would go by the directions on the products.
You should head out to OverGrow.com's FAQs... shitloads of information there... you have to invest the time reading all that.

Meters::: If you're doing hydro, you need a meter that can measure pH, TDS, EC, ppm ... probably you'll want temperature readings in there too...
A store I've been a customer of, and I'm really happy with them, is Better Grow Hydro (www.BGHydro.com)... they've got anything and everything... almost.

Othe stuff::: RO filter @ eBay. Do an eBay search for "RO water filter" or "Reverse Osmosis Filter"... if you want it.

Container for mixing:::
Depends on how many plants are you going to have... how big is your planned setup? Is it hydro? Soil?

Of course the Orange is always going...eh soil-style lol.

And for a first try I would only do one plant at a time to get the feeling of it then I'd probably do 5 then 10...I dont know, it just seems right :upsidedow I'm not so easy to catch on quick so I would like to take it slowly for a first try.
