Well in that case, it would seem odd that the cop was just there. That's just bad luck, and most likely the officer just not having anything better to do. Some cops just like to be dicks and hardasses.

I've was driving home late one night, and a cop pulls out behind me, flips on his lights. That of course scares the shit outta me b/c I am not exactly sober, but he instead speeds right up on my ass, then pulls around me and turns the lights off. That sorta shit just pisses me off. Abuse of power I say.
