I'm not a fan of conversion bulbs because of the loss of watts that is typical of them,a 400WT CV will put out only 370WTS of light, this WD-MH has the cool with a bit more red than the std MH,enough for the flowering stage, high price, but less than a CV....bonbon

More Light Questions 4 Flowering & Vegging I was at Orchard/OSH hardware they have a metal Halide Multi Vapor 400watt light, one of those big bulbs, it says it must be used with a ballast (M59) Not sure what kind of ballast that is either. I don't want to do it wrong or buy junk. But it would be nice to find a light that will take care of business! For Vegging and Flowering. Something nice that won't break the bank, and does both. Some links or detailed information/prices would be EXTREMELY helpful. Thanks... in advance :D Rating: 5
