And yeah the 1950s under the desk thing is so funny!! Our government loves to scare us into agreeing with extreme measures. Remember the plastic sheeting and duct tape of 9-11?!?! LOL Its amazing people actually went out and bought that stuff.
Hitler had a couple of good ideas too. PETA has been overtaken by lunatics who are as fanatical and jihadist as Al Queda, the so called reverend Fred Phelps, anti smoking health nazi's, the Southern Baptist Council, Dubya, etc etc...they are looking to shock everyone in to believing that meat is bad and have no qualms about any of the loons who take action in their name. They are of the belief that they are right and anyone who does not agree with them is crazy, brainwashed or just plain evil. They are more than entitled to their opinion (and is does provide a certain degree of entertainment from time to time) However their huge self importance has convinced them that they are right. This always happens with organizations like this who start out with good intentions but soon become drunk on power and money. In fairness, the animal rights folks have done some good in improving conditions for animals, improving methods of killing and processing them, etc. They have also made great contributions to the health and well being of pets and helped to increase penalties for those who wantonly abuse animals. All good things.

Well yes I'm glad you acknowledge some good things from animal rights people. But comparing them to Al Queda?!? Lol come on man, I could compare the Christian church, McDonalds and half a dozen other things to them. Kind of sensational and unnecessary if you ask me.

And both Hitler and Gandhi were vegetarians. Yes that is a fact! That should tell you something. One of the most destructive and peaceful people in earth's history agreeing about one thing. Not eating meat.

You can say all you want about both people, for or against. But the fact that they both agreed about that is fascinating no mater how you look at it .

I'm not going to argue with any of your recent posts because they include nothing anyone using the average amount brain normal people use would see as a point worth discussing. LOL! LOL!

LOL this is another one. Now come on think about what you just said. Just for a few mins... You can do it, you can figure out how stupid of a statement that is... You think getting under a desk is going to help you survive at all during a nuclear attack!?!

Yes if there was a real threat they would have built fallout shelters for kids!! And not thousands.. MILLIONS!!

The fact that you are on cannabis.com would I assume mean that you undstand the bogus ad campaign against pot in the 1930s? You know "Refer Madness" etc. You think that â??under the deskâ? crap from the 1950s was any different?

LOL nothing!! There is nothing you could possibly do to avoid death in an atack like that in a normal building!! And the fact that they conducted bullshit drills for it was just done to scare people, absolutly nothing to actually help save lives if it actually happened!!!

You're not a dumbass. (at least I don't think so)
Even though the nukes we have now make the ones we dropped on the Japanese look like pop rocks, during the 60's in particular there was the deranged concept of MAD or Mutually Assured Destruction. We had enought nuke power in our sub fleet alone to blow up Russia about 15 or 20 times. (gives real meaning to the word overkill) And the Russians (former USSR) had about the same capacity. In the event of all out nuclear war, there was no survival. Only the twisted satisfaction of knowing that if we died, so would they and vice versa. Ain't that special?

The animals killed (accidently) in the process of harvesting wheat and other crops is not to be compared to industrial factory farming for meat. It's absurd.

    look at the stats.

70%+ crops are grown for animals to be slaughtered

so us veggies are still helping by not supporting the majority of farming methods that accidently get mice
