What do you do to trip off of the seed's?

Morning Glories Ok i want to trip on morning glorie seeds, and i was just wondering if you can buy them at gardening stores or would it be better to get the seeds from the plant my friend has one but we couldnt find the seeds (we were stoned)so how do you get them off the plant if thats a better way.
