I have no respect for growers who want to do it quick, because it doesn't happen that way. It takes time, trial and error to grow, and respect for the plant. It isn't as easy as taking a shit either. People need to stop thinking that. It's a learning process just like anything else.

I'm sorry if I'm being an ass but you are basically asking us to tell you how to grow. It has taken years for some us to get where we are. Read read and read some more. It will take more than once to have a successful crop.

you can have a succesful first crop. but with the attitude you have at the moment its not likely trust me. My first crop ever was outside, I didnt look after it and left it for 3 weeks. i yielded me 15 grams of fluffy bud (I was expecting more). I then did some research and some more grows and etc. but you never know enough about growing. even the best growers are still learning, so please do some reading and then ask us for help.
By the way, Buy a 250 watt HPS light, have you even thought about ventilation. One fluorescent fixture wont get you anything. show us some pic

ok i know im a big dillhole for typin all that stuff, and i highly highly respect those of you who put the time,effort,and sweat into growing this plant. and needless to say i love all of you people, people who dont have access to this site who grow even i show much love for them to. its just wondering if yall could answer these questions.....



-I know how to germinate and planting basics.

-i know about water temps and ridding the clorination

-i know about ventalation, seeing as how its only gonna be one plant at first opening the closet door for a few hours a day will cause enough ventalation for the leaves.

-i know to keep light above plant at 2 inches.

-.........i just need to know will my 1 18' in. light produce anyhthing at all. basically i just need the light for immatating sun right. so it should work. i need a simple yes or no. thanx to everyone who intends to help! :rasta:

look at this and stop bitchin. get to readin and stop buggin people for information its really rude. were here to talk to fellow stoners and growers of our favorite plant not to hear you bitch about how little you know. im a noob at this too but ive been studying on how to do a sucessful grow for months now. it takes time. just a little advice :thumbsup:

We need the specifics of the light, wattage etc, it doesnt sound like it will work..

Heres what i sugest you do bro, im on my 1st grow and its going good and i havent spent very much on my grow..

Go to your local hardware store, (Lowes Homedepot) and buy a 120watt MH bulb, a "bright stick" and a few Compact flourecent bulbs..(CFL) (the energy saver ones) make sure you get the highest watt CFL you can, i think 27w ones are in hardware stores....Keep the CFL's 2 inchs away and any MH or HPS bulb a foot away or it will burn your plants....you could grow with just CFL, buy a soft white one for veg and warm ones for flowering...Keep your lights on 24/7 for ahwile until your ready to flower....when your ready to flower switch it to 12/12 and make sure it's COMPLETELY dark during the 12 dark hours...to help with the 12/12 get a timer for your lights..they cost like 2$ at the hardware store..
