The definition of the word "gay" has not changed, it has just had a new meaning added to it. When using the word "gay" for the meaning happy, or jolly, etc. the word and meaning has not changed at all for hundreds of years.

Now in the last 40 years or so it has also come to mean homosexual but that does not affect the word when used in its original context. Of course this new meaning has caused the word not to be used much for describing "happy" or "jolly" but that does not mean it is incorrect to do so.

So the word "QUIZ" when being used to describe posing a question has not changed. Maybe you know some new ways to use the word "quiz" but I doubt it. And the definition stands, the word "quiz" can be used when asking a single question, it does not need to be more that 1 question.
