yeah lol if u call it dxm ur using its street drug name and so thats never good cause people will know ur using it the way its not meant to be used, so id call it dextromethorphan if u have to ask some pharmacy person for help.

It's a very strange drug, and the longest lasting one I've ever had - for me it takes about 5 days (yes, *days*) until I'm completely sober again after using a large-ish dose. For some people it can last even longer than that, and others can be back to normal after only a day or two. It's not a very euphoric drug, it makes you feel very content, and physically and emotionally numb. I've had some pretty amazing experiences on it though - the one that stands out is when I was on it in the middle of the night, sitting in the dark alone with my eyes closed and listening to music. I had a feeling like my soul floated out of my body through the top of my head, and I left this world behind, and there was nothing but me flying through space with the music which was creating all these beams of light around me. It was almost like I died - in a good way DXM makes time feel very slowed down, which means you can really get lost in music, it'll feel like you've been listening to a track for ages and then you'll look and see that you're only a minute in. You can get really absorbed into videos as well, you know how sometimes you can be watching something and forget that you're just watching it on a screen? It kind of enhances that. Another interesting thing about DXM if you're male - it inhibits orgasm. Once it's mostly worn off (but not completely) you'll have the ability to cum again, but you'll be able to last *ages* before you do, and you can get to that slightly-affected-by-DXM state quite quickly if you just take a low dose, like maybe 100-150mg or so.

100mg DXM is not enough. 150 is a good starting dose.

Here in the US, generic pills containing pure DXM go for about $5 for 300mg. Name brands are a bit more. I dunno what UK drug prices are like compared to US, so YMMV.

Check the active ingredients list on whatever you buy (I highly recommend the pills/gelcaps over syrup). It should contain only Dextromethorphan HBr as an active ingredient.
