They did a study to see if the program actually worked. Well it didn't! It seems that when they pulled out the breifcase of drugs and explained what they do to you, everybody wanted to try them afterwords. So they stopped the program in my county. :stoned:

I always laugh when I am reminded of DARE. When I was subjected to it in 5th grade, all of us had to write an essay about why we don't do drugs (I really wish I could find it, but it's been like 10 years lol) and since mine was the best in my class I got to read it in front of the school and I got a DARE medal.. I should make a piece or somethin out of it...
