On the contrary, I believe these are also members of the opiate family and are highly addictive. Valium was the " mothers little helper" mentioned in the Stones tune and was passed out like candy back in the 50's and 60's to stressed out housewives, most of whom ended up in some kind of rehab. Today, it's Prozac which is probably even worse. Doctors are some of the most common abusers of prescription drugs due to the amount of stress they are under with high patient volumes and easy access.
LittleWing, you can try to talk with both of your parents but there's a good chance that you mom is enabling you dad in his use of these drugs. Not knowing the details of your situation, all I can say is good luck, ride the bus and move out when you can. And don't give up on your folks. He recently gave me a pill to help me sleep. i looked at the pill very closly and memorised what it looked like. i searched his drug cabinet frantically (i wanted to know what it was so i could take some when i cant sleep with out him knowing...he didnt want me to know what the tablet was for some reason...) i found a the pills in the cabinet, there were 3 bottles of them....but all with the most of the Rating: 5
