If you pick a good male you can harvest the pollen and then only pollinate the bottom parts of the flowering plant and still have the best of both worlds.

Instead of using up all 10 seeds then having to buy more, buy one pack of a really nice strain, grow it out to a female, one male, pollinate, there you go! Seeded buds for making hash and lots of seeds.
