Sorry 'bout the title Latewood. That's how the method was referred to in the thread I read (on another forum), the one which got my friend to try it that way. When you don't really know what you're doing and someone confidently tells you they use ______ method all the time and it works great....

After reading on a forum about that method, my friend tried that. Thinking it would be easier to just let the stems hang in the water than worry about every spot on the surface getting misted.
