You're right...public defenders are pretty much a lost cause most of the time, unless you get really lucky. Try looking online for attorney's who defend MJ users. There are lots of 'em who are very sympathetic to medical users who will help at a greatly reduced fee. Maybe even get some copies of Hightimes or Cannabis Culture magazines. I think you can access their websites for names of attorneys in each state.

Did those guys come do that warrant-less search at your home because of things the postman was involved with? I suppose that's why the postal inspector was involved.
