Well...just been trying to stay out of jail,out here west of the metroplex,but I failed,becuase I spent this last Saturday,in jail for misdemeanor possesion,around 6 grams or less,that was taken in a warrant-less search,this past August. The feller with the task force,said if I was a good boy-that he would probably not 'walk me through the system',but I reckon that he changed his mind...dang him !

I can't recall if I told you the story of my 'visit',by the task force and the postal inspector and an unknown fed..did I ?

I tell you what,fellers like me,with a double fusion in the lumbar and with degenerative arthritis settin in,don't have any business sleeping on a 2 inch thick mattress on a concrete floor ! Heck it took me several days to recover from that !

I contacted the president of D/FW NORML and a legal advisor,to see if they could help me any,but I ain't heard back from the legal advisor yet. Are you a member of NORML ? I'd like to join and they have meetings around the metroplex that I'd like to go to,but I ain't got no way to git there,still..I think that I want to join anyhow. I figure that public defender,will be about as useless as the tits on a boar-hog...lol..so I'm hoping for some help from NORML..with my luck,they'll say that I'm too far away from the metroplex to help me.

Dang Torog, that's horrible news. Wish I could offer some advice, but I don't know what to suggest.

I don't belong to any groups like NORML, so I don't know what type of assistance they could provide. But it would be worth looking into.

You're right...public defenders are pretty much a lost cause most of the time, unless you get really lucky. Try looking online for attorney's who defend MJ users. There are lots of 'em who are very sympathetic to medical users who will help at a greatly reduced fee. Maybe even get some copies of Hightimes or Cannabis Culture magazines. I think you can access their websites for names of attorneys in each state.

Did those guys come do that warrant-less search at your home because of things the postman was involved with? I suppose that's why the postal inspector was involved.

Hey Onward. Good to hear from you. I started a new job about 3 weeks ago and I've been pretty busy. As you may or may not know I lost my job back in september. I started at one place, but it wasn't my cup of tea. They could have used a lesson in ethics. I'm not saying they were doing anything illegal, but it didn't sit well with me, know what I mean. I've been working a-lot, but I'm sparking a fatty right now and then we are going to see a movie and out to eat tonight. Granny is going to watch the kids.

Torog-Sorry you are having trouble with the law. I'm not a member of NORML either. I wish you the best. You would think some REAL crime might be going on out there that they could better focus their attention on?

I'm still waiting on a reply from the legal advisor at NORML,and there are several lawyers listed for the metroplex,but I ain't talked to them yet,I will though,I'm hoping that they will help out a poor feller like me,otherwise I'll have to git a public defender,and he'll just probably be a yes man for the local system here,anyhow.

It seems to me,that if y'all join NORML there,that y'all would make some good friends..:thumbsup: We need to network and unite !

Hey man. Glad to hear from you again! Been awhile since we last spoke.

I remember the last time we emailed you had just started that new job. Sorry it didn't work out, but thankfully you have something new to keep you moving forward.

I took the plunge myself and made what is for me a pretty big financial investment in a business. It's taking away a lot of my spare time right now, but it's something I think could really help us in the long run. Plus it's fantastic having a new challenge to look forward to every day. Luckily my wife is incredibly supportive and believes in me. That makes all the difference in the world!!!!

We need to get together someday soon and chew on a few pork ribs over at the bbq spot near you. Heck, I'd be more than willing to drive over there for a few dozen babybacks!!!!

Well I was arrested for misdemeanor possesion,it was only 6 grams or less,but if I plan on fighting it,I can't help but wonder if the unknown fed will come out of nowhere and charge me for recieving small amounts of weed and hash,all 2 grams or so. My bond for the weed charge,was only 1000$,so I reckon the penalty should be the minimum. The thing is though,the weed was taken without a warrant and none of the cops present,left any sort of paperwork describing what they took,which was the weed,a couple of pieces of paraphenalia and some seeds. Thy didn't leave any calling cards identifying who I was dealing with either. I only consented to them entering my house,because I was half-asleep and wasn't thinking. The way I see it,the charge should be dropped,given the nature under which it was taken.

My gal got busted 2 days later,back in August,and she still hasn't heard anything about a court date-over 6 months later.

Hey man...heck, we need to do some fishing together. I haven't wet a line in over a year. My poles are all tangled in the garage right now, just begging to be used. As long as it's been, I'll be a backlashing son of a gun my first few casts. Spider webs all over the place.

We need to hook up since we are so close together. There are a couple of other guys on here who we need to meet as well. Maybe just split a pitcher of beer first to get to know what's what. Have you ever been to Bone Daddy's on Central?
