I was looking to make cannabutter sometime. im guessing it would but not really sure but would it make my whole kitchen smell of cannabis?

My friends and i were about to but we decided not to because of smell.

and has anyone tried cooking the cannabutter with ricecrispies?

Ok everyone, I know this should be in the recipes forum but I'm making cannabudder for the first time and need some quick feedback. I have 3.5 grams of shake from some nice dro and 3.5 of the same buds. I'm gonna grind it all up in a coffee grinder and then melt 1 cup (1 stick) of butter. Then I'm gonna add the powder and simmer on low for 15 minutes. Then I'm gonna strain it with cheesecloth. Does this sound about right to everyone? Is the ratio good?
