Yea man! That's it. Animal played the drums. Gonzo would often announce them, but he wasn't in the band. And don't forget special effects by Crazy Harry. (See attached photos.)

Diama, It's great to see another bluegrass fan! I really like younger bands that play traditional grass, like Nickel Creek. (Hmmm... "Grass" is short for bluegrass. No wonder I like it so much!) Older dudes that don't play too much gospel are great too. I like the music of Larry Sparks, but he looks and acts like a fool. I would never want to see him live. Too much like Branson, MO. <grin> Ever since I got hooked up with XM radio, I've been able to listen to it all the time. Nothing like a festival though.

How do you feel about the New Grass sound? Ever think it sounds more like jazz?

Scoot and Lemon, As it happens I used to be big into growing orchids. (They all died when I moved to Colorado. Nasty fungus.) At one time I had about 20 plants. At $50 a pop, that was a pretty big collection! I have lighted grow cabinets, fertilizer, pots, and just about everything I would need! Funny thing is that my wife wants me to set one of the cabinets up so she can grow herbs. heh heh Maybe I should try to germinate some of my own "herb" along with hers.

She knows I go off whenever some politician or activist starts talking about legislated morality. My biggest topic is, of course, the idiocy of making pot illegal. She doesn't know that I started smoking again, but I don't think she would be surprised if a few MJ plants appeared. How long does it take from germination to buds?
