Weed Smoking Etiquette and YOU???

LOL This reminds me of something me and my friends did years ago. We were hanging out under this bridge smoking and came up with the "Stoner's Constitution". We were really high and were trying to make them sound very "legal", if that's the right word. Anyhow, it was basically just a whole bunch of etiquette rules that we painted on the bridge support pillar. I can't remember them all but a few that do stick in my head are "He who owns the weed decides when to smoke it" and "One should be offered weed, it is impolite to ask to be smoked out". I remember this because their was always one or two guys hanging around that never had any weed but were always asking us to get them high. Since the rule was that anyone who broke a rule had to sit out the next smoke session this cut down on improper smoking etiquette pretty quick.

That was like 20 years ago but last time I checked, although the paint is really faded, you can still see the "Constitution"

Smoke is smoke. The smoke in the bong is from the buds, not from your lungs or nothing, so I don't see why people would get mad. I would clear the bong if they left it, then fill it up again.

When me and my friends smoke, there isn't any rules. Sillyness I say.

if you dont clear the bong who cares - either you clear it when your ready or pass it and let the next person clear it - if the next person clears it he can then proceed to take his own hit

1. What goes around comes around - if your in the group and have weed, you throw down, cos one day when you ain't got weed, someone else will throw down for you

2. The only defined rotation necessary is that revolving around making the tea and other drinks....

Well, I feel a little better now after hearing all your guys thoughts, I think this situation was more for when you smoke with people you dont know well... if you with your good friends or even your GF or BF then I think people usually do whatever is clever.
Thats why I hate smoking with strangers, its uncomfortable... well until the dank kicks in then noi one cares anymore.

Well, that's usually the case if you're smoking with good friends.

But if you're smoking with people you don't know as well, etiquette is more important.

A general rule here is that if a joint is being rolled and you have weed, it's rude not to throw down. If it's only one person weed, that person gets green hit. The person who rolled it or who supplied the pipe get second hit. Clockwise after that.

Another is that if everyone threw weed down, the person in the driver's seat starts.

Lastly, if it's rolling, you better take a fucking hit the second it gets to you.

the person who supplied the weed goes first is a basic rule unless he/she says otherwise. if someone smokes you out then you smoke them out at a later time. that's basically it

^^Smoking rules are cool, but just don't all trip out when someone breaks them.

It's cool to have those rules to make sure everyone's getting the best smoke they can, just don't fuck with people who mess it up.
