did they actually put in writing that they suspended you for suspicion of selling drugs on the job? if so, you have one hell of a lawsuit against them unless of course they have proof. if they did, im sure they would have called the police by now so.... call them on it. ask them what proof they have and ask them how interested they are in a civil lawsuit. it seems to me they are taking advantage of your age and you naivety about your rights as an employee. i totally agree with those that say stand up to them. emphatically do not let them get away with this, unless you know they have proof. then let it be... and dont be so stupid with your next job.. yeah i said you were stupid to do that. you need to understand you have to be descrete. they take drug dealers a hell of alot more serious than they do casual smokers/users.

    good luck

    Okay, here's what you do.....
You take your boss to a nice quiet place and then calmly tell him to go fuck himself. after that, go find a job where there isnt so much stress bro.

listen man you can argue over it all you want, but the bottom line is you signed the paper. if you want to know what you can do, then get a fucking copy of the paper that you signed so you know exactly what your being accused of.

as far as another job is concerned, as long as your not convicted then as far as your future employers are concerned, you never worked there in the first place. its optional to put down previous employement.

and just for the record, when you give a business permission to contact your previous employers, the ONLY thing they are allowed to do is verify that you were employed there for the amount of time that you stated on the application. if either business shares ANY information besides that simple verification, then its descrimination and its against the law, and you can sue both companies.

ok well, i went there and quit tonight and said i had to quit because "my school performance was dropping and i was loosing sleep". I signed the paper with my name put the time and the todays date on it and gave it to the assistant manager who is cool. So i quit and was not fired. Because as of the time i was suspended from work and but still employed there. Tonight i went in and quit. Simple. Done. I wasn't fired. They didn't have the pleasure

I think this was the best move.

Sounds good. IF they had fired you though with no reasonable proof of you "distributing", you would probaly have had an easy lawsuite.

Dude, don't worry at all... You are 16, and by the sounds of it ("took me out of the dining room") this was some sort of resturant job or something... those are a dime a dozen, if you are responsible enough to hold this job for any amount of time, regardless if they fire you or not, you can hold another easily...

IF you think you are innocent, and they do take you back, look for another job regardless... and when you get one, which you will, walk right up to the dude, tell him your gone because of their attitude, and leave...

You don't need their reference, you don't need to put it on any future applications, you don't need to worry about being sued or getting into any more trouble... there are jobs out there for people willing to work hard and prove themselves, don't settle for some douche-bag resturant manager questioning your work moves..

and for future reference, keep the drugs out of the workplace.. if you have to buy pills from someone, at least take a smoke break or a bathroom break and leave the building before doing it right at work...

whenever i get fired from a job (i never did but IF i ever do), then i will just neglect to mention that i ever have previously held employment at that establishment. if they don't know that you have worked there, they won't know that you were fired from that job. =)
