    Germination question...

Well I was reading some where that some people just start their seeds in the same pot that they will use for the seed's whole growth life. Well I have a question. If you can grow your seeds in the same pot and everything why do people go through all the work of getting a small pot and transfering it to a bigger pot, and why do people use the paper towel method? Why dont people just use the same pot to start their seedlings that they plan on using for the vegitative and flowering period?

    Germination question...

i dont know about anyone else, but if i used a bigass pot from the beginning, id have a job hiding it from my parents, seeing as how i wouldnt start the thing off outside. thats just me, and if you could find a far off, well protected location for it, i dont think it would be a problem. just be careful of where you put it, cuz even tiny plants can be easily identified.

    Germination question...

I'm not talking about the people who are living with their parents, I'm talking about people who are growing marijuana freely in their house..why start in something little when you can start in something big and keep it there? Lol.

    Germination question...

I plant my seeds directly into the pots that they will live out their lives in. My germination rate is very good. I can't remember the last time I didn't get a bean to sprout. I planted 7 seeds this time and got 7 plants.

As for the paper towl technique and the re potting all the time, I have no idea why anyone would want to do it. I could see starting them in smaller pots and then sexing them to remove males. That way you wouldn't waste a bunch of dirt on a male. The paper towl method, or other similar ones, is just complicating a very simple proceedure IMO.

I'll be interested to read why someone feels that popping seeds under a paper towl is better then starting them in wet dirt.

    Germination question...

Hahah I'm totally with your Sativa, when I had no knowledge I thought doing those methods were the only way. Now I would just rather start in a pot that I plan on using for the seedlings whole life.
