I'm involved in the planning stages of a Christian outreach group dealing mostly with inmate addiction. Including drugs (obviously) but other addictions as well like kleptomania. Really anything and everything. I was initially concerned about approaching these problems from a religious perspective. There is a real chance to replace one addiction with another. Anyone that has ever been to a Christian church has met people that are indeed addicted to religion. I can't say you've calmed my fears.
