Stone Soul Picnic was another. ( i think)

Great harmonies. Kind of candy assed music
Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis were the leads...and married at one time too.

I shall choose to take that as a compliment Beachguy although, I was a tad young to be part of the whole hippie movement of the mid and late 60's. Especially having grown up in the midwest which is usually about 10 years behind the coasts. Never even went to California until a couple years ago.
I was only 11 when Neil Armstrong walked on the moon and it was one of the most memorable moments in my life. I still get chills when I watch the shuttle launches. By the 70's, the hippie movement was pretty much over with. What amazes me is that these hippies who were dropping acid and dancing naked at woodstock are the same assholes who are robbing peoples pension funds, running the nation in to the crapper and forcing all of this political correctness on us now. Seems they have turned in to the same nazi's they were protesting against.

by the way, there's a reason hippies listen to Come Together and Age of Aquarius and the like... it's damn good music! In fact, go buy the forrest gump cd if you want a real taste of the music of hippies, anti-vietnam, civil rights, etc.

JDiz, please tell me you are not one of those loons who think that the moon landings were all faked.
