Bacteria in Yogurt Modified to Fight HIV Infection
Research based at Brown Medical School in Rhode Island altered the genetics of the bacteria so they generate cyanovirin, a drug that has prevented HIV infection in monkeys and human cells, according to a report at [email protected].
Cyanovirin binds to sugar molecules that are attached to the HIV virus, blocking a receptor used by HIV to infect cells.

could you imagine the beginning of this study? alright, some scientist student, sitting around thinking and whatnot, eating their yogurt, when suddenly! "i wonder if this bacteria could be used to fight hiv?" i mean, what the fuck are these scientists thinking?! it seems like they are willing to spit-out anything if it'll bring some hope to the people. whatever it takes i suppose. the fact of the matter is, hiv will never be obliterated. no diseases for that matter. pandora's box has been opened, people. i got to get in on this "whatever it takes" state-of-mind, or just be one of the suckers who believes. someone who desires truth, who yearns for it, but is looked upon as a dope because he believes. because he trusts. it's sad really. to be taken advantage of that is, but if insulting my intelligence is something someone needs to get by, then i don't think this world has much use for me anymore. i've had it. i've been far down the rabbit-hole. almost to a point of no return. on my way out, i realize. this walk was meant to be alone. just the two of us -- alone.

it's a bit hard to be optimistic when your head is flooded with negativity all the time. i can feel it in the air when i'm hanging out with friends, smoking herb. i think i just need to some good ole, one-on-one action with mary jane. it's been a while.

You can't piss yourself off. You don't wait for yourself to take a hit.
God didn't intend us to talk while we get high. Otherwise, he would have made Cannabis Sativa Lawnchairs.
