This is regarding your "double-stemmed" plant-

It could have been a polyploid which means that the seed grows TWO tap roots (shoots) instead of the usual ONE. They then grow two of everything- two stems, two pairs of cotyledon leaves; basically two plants in one like a siamese.
I've had a couple of polyploids since I've been growing weed and they've always been one male and one female, never both the same sex. I'm not sure if they ALWAYS turn out this way; I guess it could be the plants way of self pollinating and producing seeds on its own, like a hermaphrodite but not as f**ked up.
My polyploid plants grew absolutely fine. When I discovered that one of the plants was male I simply cut it off and disposed of it, then let the female plant grow on as normal which produced normal female buds. I didn't notice any difference in size or anything.
