I did a search and could not find the info I was looking for... Ive never used CFL's before, but am thinking about it.
Could anyone give me the rundown on them and whats the best way to use them... how close to the plants? - what wattage? - How many plants can be used under each light? which are the best to use???... stuff like that.Any help would be appreciated!

oh and I guess I should be clear... Im talking about the Compact bulbs, you know the ones that are self ballasted and pretty cheap and can go in a regular socket... I use HPS and regular Floros now, I thought maybe these compact CFL's could be useful for lighting for another area without getting another HPS

    Hello,

Welcome to the wonderfull world of VW MicroBus Maintenance... First off, we'd like to ask you for...
    Wait... wrong board.

Hello. Welcome to the Pot Growing World.
CFL, as you probably know, CFL = Compact Flourescent Bulb

Check gKnowm's thread to see what a super healthy CFL plant looks like

How close? As close as possible.
What wattage? Size does matter. The bigger the merrier.
How many plants? Probably about 0.5 plants for ever CFL.

Best to use? One of these:

    Envirolites.

    £40 for the big Envirolite?

    Damn... good for you.

Prices are higher over here in the US. But we can get a Tomahawk for around $7,500,000... plus the F22 Raptor for about $60,000,000.

    Is £40 around $80 USD? Around $90?
