Yes. The integrity strips consist of ph, specific gravity and creatnine.
If the nurse failed to identify anything wrong with these integrity levels (she is required to inform you of any issues there, if an on-the-spot integ check was utilized), she is breaking the law if she rejects the sample on the basis of flat odor alone, and ordering a retest. As I said earlier, there are no odor standards to go by. Even some human samples can have no odor.

I have done 3 test on the QF 4.0 and passed all 3. 1 was a home test kit (passed) 2 I sent the sample to the test kits lab.(Passed) 3 Took a pre employment SAP 5-50 W/NIT Test. (Passed) I also saved the empty bottles for Temp.Testing. Heres what I did and my results. First I filled the QF bottle with cold tap water then took the heating pad and taped it to the side of the bottle without the temp. strip. No clarification of abnormal levels in first sample by collector. Just *flat w/ no smell* and contacted the employer and they requested a supervised. So I guess I should seek advise from an attorney if they screw with me. What a pain in the ass. Smell in itself is not part of validity check protocols mainly because there are no established standards to go by. Even a lack of odor is present in some human samples too. That nasty nurse is definitely overstepping the call of duty, perhaps trying to be a hero and violating HHS protocols in doing so. A sample collector wouldnt dare sniff every urine sample that comes their way, especially since thats not what theyre getting paid to do something disgusting like that.

You should have refused the supervised collection and threaten legal action right away, due to the nurse did not indicate any wrongdoing via the integrity strip that was placed on the sample. She is supposed to inform you of the integrity strip results right there, before ordering a recollection under supervision.

And on the papers should be the testers name.This is XXXXXXXX out tho but the time you were there and date is on it also.So they know who it was at the testing site.
You should have a copy and in your case two copys.
I would still talk to her supervisor.
That is over stepping her bounds by far.

random testing is no joke when your job is important and especially your in a career path for sucess, i too have vested into buying Quick Fix to carry under my ball sacks, or just in my pockets... Mostly going to put it on my ball sacks on hot days where its mostly known for randoms, other days is pockets.......

for my pre-employement test i bought the detox drink both times and passed, for my next employement test I used substitute piss from a freind for labcorp, and passed....

Currently using Quick Fix everyday at work no matter what.............

I have a question and it seems by experience you or someone on here can help me out. I am a 30yo female. Smoke marijuana daily for last 6 years. I went today for a drug screen and used the quick fix 4.0. I did my research and this seemed to be the best vice. Well I went in with it between my crotch. Nice and warm of course. When I gave the sample to the collector she freakin smelt it!! She said the sample was flat and had no smell. She put a strip in it. No idea what that was. Maybe checking ph level and other stuff? That was the one concern I had using synthetic piss. So she contacted the employer and they wanted me to do a *supervised* sample. So I am internally freaking out. I am like sure no problem. So she is tending to a couple other people while I am drinking water to *be able* to pee again. Luckily I had a little left in the bottle. So why she is tending to other people, I cram the bottle into my girl cavity. I had my coat over my lap. Very uncomfortable for sure. So I wait till I drink three glasses of h2o and say I am ready to test again. She takes me in and watches me *pee*. I just flipped the little cap thing and out it came into the cup. I am like "this is all I have". Maybe 10-15 cc. She accepts the sample and I am on my merry way. Will they fail me if there is no smell to the urine sample? I have researched the internet since I got home and can't find squat on this smell issue and quick fix 4.0. Any input is greatly appreciated.

I would seriously call an attorney, I've never had a supervised urine test for job employment/random drug test, and with all the sick freaks in the world today I am almost certain that is not legal. If the lab or my work asked such a thing I would straight up say "fuck no!" I'm pretty sure they can't fire you for that, and you could probably sue even if they only asked. Even if it is legal I still wouldn't do that, I have way too much pride in myself and the work I do that I would never let any employer put me in such an uncomfortable position. I know your a woman, but right now you need a big pair of balls, so hire one, (an attorney, not balls :P).


And to get back on topic, this is a great thread. I need something for randoms also so I will order this stuff. I just hope it works, I really can't loose my job right now!! Also has anybody tried the Urine Luck Additive? I'm thinking about getting that just in case I don't have time to heat up the sythnetic piss, but I wasn't sure if this additive works on DOT drug testing.
