A friend of mine was jumped when he asked these guys for a lighter and they broke his leg, a few years ago. I've only seen him a few times since, though. He never had a license, couldn't drive or walk, and had a snotty girlfriend.

I was driving through Ft. Myers Florida once on a street called "anderson Avenue" Known for its high drug activity, and other poverty related crimes.
I stopped at a red light and the next thing i knew a guy jumped in on my passenger side of the car with a knife and said "Give me your wallet"
I said , ok, it is right here. I reached down and came up with the .357 that my brother used in Vietnam(he ended up committing suicide). I just pointed that big ol' gun at that man and he started to cry and beg for me not to shoot him. I told him that he should get out of my car, and he did. I then proceded to work in East Ft. Myers and shared my adventure with my boss.
I still grin from ear to ear when i think of the look that guy had on his face when i pointed that .357 in his face. I could of swore i smelled shit there for a second.

They were after nothing, at all. They didn't ask me for any money, drugs or anything. He just asked if I wanted to fight, I only understood English half assed at the time, and "fight" wasn't in my dictionary, so I smiled, I guess that made them upset and 10 fists and 25 kicks to the face later, there I was.

I'm completly over that shit now though. That was about 6yrs ago now and that's the only beating I've taken really, with fists and pure hatred that is

The moral of the date rape story, it does not pay to be drunk and horny.

Good old sublime. And nochowder I can't speak for all of Canada but in NS people don't get randomly beat. We're more likely to jump into a fight and help someone getting beat than we are to start one. You prolly just met some fucked up crack heads. It just proves shit can happen anywhere I guess.

I walked home from high school and this guy used to take the same route as me and my friends and would yell at us and punch my friends. For some reason he never punched me and one day he came up to me and did his whole "I'm a skinny little white bully" routine staring me down and shit. Finally he got all close looking like he was gonna hit me and I was like "Come here so i can fucking gut you" or something and he ran off saying "Bitch ain't fightin fair bitch got a knife".

Then his bully-guru or whatever, some big mexican kid who would actually jump in and kick people's ass if they tried to fight back against his pathetic apprentice was like "Look at that kid, he look like he got a knife? You see a knife?" So he came back, I didn't have a knife obviously, punched me in the nose, and walked off.

Now I know that if I'm going to make a knife threat, I need to show them a knife. Lesson Learned.

I was in a fight once. I got the dude dwn on the ground and was reaching back to give him a good puch to the head when some ass comes up and punches me in the face. I fall back holding my nose (bloody), not really sure what's going on. It turns out there was almost a really big fight with like 20 people involved, but the kid who punched me and his friends ran away.
