Reading When Your High

I can't read when Im high man, my mind just won't let me. I don't read that much but often when I'm high is when it appeals to me but cruely I can't do it when I'm high, I just sorta read the words but they don't register in my mind.

It was this Saturday i had tried it, I had been high since Friday and my 2 friends left for home and I had nothing to do even though I was still burnt. Then this book caught my eye, it is from a series called The Wheel of Time. I had tried to read some of it before, got kinda into it but then got distracted and never got back to it. I opened the cover and started reading the Prologue. It fealt as though I was reading very slow but I wasn't actually. I got so Rating: 5

yeah i cant even read long posts on the forum wheni am stoned, its like your definatley reading the worfds in your mind but by the time you got the second sentence you have totally forgot the first one :P

I imagine I could do it, never tried. I imagine it'd be like a more intense experience and you'd feel imensely engrossed in it. Living the story in your mind. God damn, as soon as my bong arrives I'm packing a fat bowl of nug and reading a book. Of course I gotta smoke that bowl first lol.

Ya when i was still in school i had english class right after lunch, so i was always high and anytime I tried to read something, I would just read the same line over and over not understanding anything, then i would just give up

I love horror writers like James Herbert and Stephen King, although i've only just started reading Cell and woohaaa, it's crazy.

Obviously manga and comics are quality when stoned. I recommend Alan Moore (V for Vendetta or The Watchmen) and Frank Miller (Sin City, Batman:Year One and Dark Knight Returns). I also recommend anyone to read Maus by Art Spiegalman. Amazing shit :thumbsup: !

Books are great to read when stoned, especially the little kiddies ones that when you open the page a fuckin Eiffel Tower jumps out at you.
