robert42 Reviewed by robert42 on . I need a car... yeah so my brother is 18, and hasn't even got a car yet. I have about $3000 i've saved up over the years for a car, and my brother has about $1,000... so we have about $4,000 and then my grandpa is sort of rich ( not meaning to leech off him ) but he has a bentely, and i think he can help us out with a couple thousand dollars... Basically, we're looking for a reliable car that would be good for the next 6-8 years... it need to get good gas mileage, and has to be very reliable. Some cars Rating: 5

A 510 mustang would be a hell of a lot of fun. Make sure it has some seriously big ass rear tires because it will need them to be able to put that kind of power down. I had a 1990 Mustang and they are very front heavy. Also get a few extra pairs of back tires because you will burn those babies up real fast

Sounds nice. I was VERY close to buying a 1980 camaro z28 with an engine from a 1996 corvette. The guy showed me the dyno sheet with 410hp on it. Took it out and drove it: In a straight line, it was amazing, able to spin the tires all the way into 3rd gear. BUT, pretty much everything else mechanical about the car besides the drivetrain was shot. Suspension, brakes, exhaust. I just couldnt justify paying $3500 and then having to turn around and invest another 2grand just to make it safe to drive.

Have fun with the stang tho!

Yeah.. I'm still not ENTIRELY sure about it.. It might be more wrong with it.. Mind you.. I WOULD love to own a mustang.. My all time favorite car!

I haven't seen it upclose, but a friend of mine has, and says it look E(SEX)ELENT!

And there is the issue on the suspension and I don't know if it's rusted... But fuck man.. 510 horses! That's close to a fucking Ferrari! The engine would be worth the deal on it's own!

An Acura Integra would be cool and will last a long time. Find one that hasn't been run to hell of course. Pulled 200K miles off mine and sold it working fine. I wish I still had it sometimes but I needed the money at the time. Really fun to drive.

    Awwe, memories. :\
