Whats the difference between drving drunk and driving high?

I just wanted to know, obviously not that one is being drunk and one being high. Is high easier than drunk or visa versa? Ive driven with people who were high and it doesn't seem too tough but ive never driven with someone drunk. So tell me in your own opinion, and don't make a comment if you haven't done please!

high is so much easier. Compare being drunk and high and just think about it for a bit. Which makes you fall down. Which causes your vision to blur. Just think for a minute haha.

There's still no excuse to drive intoxicated-- in any manner. You're putting both yours and other drivers' lives at risk.

haha well I might get some sourpuss' to speak up with this one, but oh well

I drive high all the time, and its actually become more of a norm for me to do that. I have a decent drive to class a lot, so I smoke and it's actually not bad at all just listening to music.

I also have driven drunk on many occassions. I am not a total prick though, and I know when I should not be behind any wheel. But when you are like ReAlLy drunk, your normal vision is of course blurred, so I honestly have to cross my eyes to see straight. That's only been a couple times though, because its really tough to do. Now now, keep in mind MOST of these drunk driving occurances are on country roads, although I have driven on the highway a couple times. Later.

The body can intoxicate itself. If you refuse to drive after smoking a bit of weed, remember not to smoke after jogging, experiencing any emotion, after sleeping too much, and many other situations which everyone has no problem driving in.

Driving comes naturally after a while. Unless your motor skills are impaired or your reaction time slowed (as it could be by depression, being tired, drunk, or too stoned) then driving comes second nature to most people even in various mindsets.

"The drunk driver blows right through the stop sign, the stoned driver waits for it to turn green." - Bill Hicks

Seriously though most people I know who drive stoned may have slower reaction time but generally drive slower. Drunk people are just fucked up.

I seem to drive better when high. When sober, I am a compulsive speeder always going 10 or more over the speed limit on my way to class. When high, I find myself driving BELOW the speed limit and taking my time at intersections and lights. I feel I drive safer when stoned. :stoned:

I have also drove drunk a few times (I hate it, makes me feel irresponsible) and was fine (as far as I knew). I also have a good amount of common sense and know if im too fucked up to be on the road or not.

For me, driving drunk is a chore and makes me feel bad, where driving high brings me back to when driving used to be fun!

The differences between driving drunk high is the paranoia When im drunk i don't give a fuck and hall ass and whip turns ( some of my best running from the cops done drunk). When your drunk you can concentrate on driving. But thats not to say you'll push it too far and whack someones car on your way by.
When your high you have to worry about going to slow(usually ok if its with in 10 of speed limit.) And the other thing is you worry to much and get to thinking alot. You'll get more comfortable as you do it more. I would try getting a little high and driving and it will come to you when your fucked up. Also if you go out to drive thinking you can't do it you can't. But if you get in the drivers seat relaxed you'll be ok.
