sexing plants

i know that i should cut a piece off a plant and then put it under 12/12 to find sex but my cloning skills aint that great.would it be best to just veg all plants then flower and pull males or turn light to 12/12 today and when i see males cut em and then put lights back to 24/0.i have 30 plants growing and they are like an inch tall.can i check the sex yet or should i wait till they get bigger.germ on 1/1/06.

you will have to leave them a bit longer,what i done was take cutting of all my plants and put them under 12/12,remember to mark what plant each cutting came from,once i determend the sex i threw out the cuttings and the mails took new cuttings of my female plants and when my first harvest eas done i had all female going strait in again and before i put them under 12/12 i took more cuttings and so on ,but once your cuttins have shown their sex, better binning them as no use reveging them.
