Yup. James Marshall Hendrix was a good man until he was murdered. The best.

Itā??s funny because our trash day is on Mondays so of course there was no trash pick up on MLK day. And tons of my neighbors still put their trash out. I know for a fact that many of them that put their trash out have kids in school that had that day off so they knew it was a holiday and that their was no trash pick up!! It's like they just put it out anyway as a protest to the holiday!
Or maybe they just forgot and I'm too cynical.... I donā??t know which it is. Probably a little of both.

Big thumb down to Michael King. He was a terrible degenerate plagiarising hypocritical fake moralless communist unAmerican asshole who is rotting in hell, and RastaKaze, I don't care what type of response a typical white person would say, no matter how offensive your comment was, because if that is a typical response, I don't mind having uniquity in my response.
Fuck King!!!! Fuck King!!!!
You want to know why he has his own Holiday when people like Booker T. Washington don't? It's because the white leaders of America know that he is a degenerate and don't mind letting such a dick represent the civil rights movement. He didn't even write some of his own speeches (I'm not certain whether or not he wrote his most famous one).
African Americans diserve better.

Are you going to deny and undermine the entire positive movement that spawned out of Dr. Kings 'supposed' words, along with the people that were inspired by his 'sermons'?

Even if it's true, and he was a puppet too, the words were carefully chosen because the power of the word is huge, to attain a complete nationwide positive social integration effect. African people call it the 'Nommo' philosophy.
-You say he's a communist? sigh
-You say he's unamerican? Come on the guy loved the opportunity and wanted to comply. He urged his brothers & sisters to do the same thing. He meant no harm to you or your family or even your civil rights which you all love so much.
So the only real point you state is that he has a holiday and others don't. Why?
NOT because the 'white supremacist' leaders of the free world allow this as a boutade, NOT because of some secret lobby or some organization.
The people wanted to pay their respects and remember this schism in American racial relations for the better.
MLK lives on in peoples hearts. Most of them. Not yours obviously. Try to accept certain things, or at least be able to modify your opinion.
ciao

Maybe Mr. Vanzant if you want your point to be taken seriously and not as just a attempt to start an arguement maybe you should back up what you said with reasons and facts.
Maybe I'm just being ignorant but to my knowledge he wasn't a child abuser or crack addict or anything which would back up the idea of him being a degenerate. Even if he didn't write some of his speeches it still takes a brave man to stand up and say what he did.
