Need some advice
My plants are at 16 days of flowering and they wont stop stretching. They were started at an average of 11" and now they are at 31". I know that some strains can triple in height but damn! This is only the second week.
The seeds were given to me and were supposed to be NL but who knows with free seeds. They could be (and most likely are) F2's or beyond.
I have been keeping the 400 HPS a lot closer then I normally would to try to stop the stretch but it hasn't helped at all. I keep telling myself that they'll stop growing vertically and start working on buds any day but whenever I look in on em it seems like they're 3" taller then last time.
When I started flowering them I was planning on some 20 - 25" plants at the end of flowering and thought that my pots would be big enough but now that I have these four monsters I'm thinking about putting another one outside and repotting the best looking three into bigger pots. I've read that you can safely repot up untill the 3rd week of flowering but what do you all think?
They have tons of fresh cool air blowing on them enriched with CO2. They are fed using "Earth Juice - Bloom" every other watering.
Anyway they are forming nice flower clusters but if they dont stop growing they'll be 12' tall when they're done. lol
I'll attach some pics. The first will be them at 1 week of flowering and the others are ones I just took today (16 days). Sorry but the HID was on while I took these pics.
If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate them.
