do not spend your money on a 250 or 400 i did and it was not worth it i have a 1000w hps and they are huge 400w has no penetration to the bottom of the plant a 1000w hps will

hey man a 400 has fine penetration for a 3'x3' room, a 1000 is a waste of electricity. you get to a certain point where there are no positive effects any more, dont get a 250 for that size

I was lookin around for the perfect lighting for my growing room that i am setting up right now, and i was uselly looking around insidesun and all there alsome deals....... my question is... I planed on getting a 400w HPS light for a room about at max 4X4 at min 3x3.... the thing i was wondering if i where to get a 250W HPS light could i get the same results as a 400w HPS one??? i am trying to save money but, I planed on growing about 10 purple hash, but not sure all wall what the Rating: 5

dont buy a 400 go to a home depo or a hardware store it will cost you 75$ us to buy a ballas and a good lite will cost you 60$ to 80$ us and its alot cheaper and is only 20$ to 30$ a month on your bill a 400 is 15$ to 25$ or if you want i can tell you were to go in usa i live in montreal and bought it used and paid 150$ canadian for the ballas the a new lite and the reflector

and a 400w hps has 50000 lumens and a 1000w hps has 150000 lumens buy 1000w you will thank me latter when you have monster in youre grow room

my friend is gonna give me 10 nicely pick Purple Hash Seeds, so yea i am starting from the seeds, but as far as the home depot thing that lion heart was talkin about the way you where talkin about is gonna cost me more........

but befor i buy anything on or offline ill have to go around store to store and see what type of price i come up with.........,
and i did plan on makin a good sized room, and heat is no problem as i said befor, infact more heat the better where it's gonna be at.

OK bro. 4x4 is a pretty decently sized room. I'm surprised no one said anything about not being able to fit 10 plants in there. Basically you'd have to grow 10 and pick out the males, but the thing is, what if most of them turn out to be female and you need to keep them? You'd have a grow room with too many girls to fit. I'd personally go with about 4-6 and use the 400W HPS. As for the HPS:

hello here is some pic of my plamts on 1000w hps super en from the start 4 to 5 feet away. and now i got monsters in a room that is 4x5 and i have no more room they are 1 month 1/2 old there 40" hight 18" away from the light are you sure you want a 400 hps look at the size i only have 4 plants 4x5 room and thay are huge i had 400 and i was not happy i hope you are but if you have not bought the 400 look at the pics and judge for yourself :thumbsup: :dance:
