What turned you on and made you think for yourself, instead of listening to the school and the propoganda? For me, i actually got interested because of DARE (which is a school anti drug program). When they started saying things like "acid makes you see pictures in your head", i was like woah that sounds pretty cool. and "does anyone know what a dilusion is? You may think you are a dog" - sounded pretty cool to me. I knew a guy who smoked Rating: 5

I started because one day i was playing halo online, i met with a guy and added his email address. He gave me a link to a weed forum (it had an online arcade and i orijnally just wanted to play on that Lol) and i watched him smoke a bong and i was pretty intrested.

At first i did'nt know FUCK ALL about weed. All i thought was "iligal drugs are bad" kinda thing, lol. Anyway. I looked around the forum. Got some info. Thought to myself "damn, weed's not bad. It seems fucking sweet"

and i hav'nt turned back since

lol, me too! since they told us that taking drugs was basically putting a bullet in your head, i was like "why would anyone try drugs in the first place??" and then i realized "oh, because they're fun." i started smoking just randomly, cause my friend offered me some and then i loved it of course. i started wanting to do other drugs once i discovered erowid and started reading all the experiences

That Dare Program in my school, made me think of not doing, but in the long run, i could just see that DARE was actully Dareing me to smoke... since they where pressuring everyone in my class room back in the old elementry days

erm for me, well my mum was a hippy, she had drugs everywhere, i mean just smeely green stuff, she and her buddies used to grow and make oil.

I stole from her, a joints worth, took me and a friend ages to roll this pathetic joint and smoked it, came home to find her waiting for me, she was pissed at 1st! Then said to me if you wantt o get high you better do it with me 1st so i can show you a way, safe and sound in our home.

As goes for the class a's, that was off my own back, wanted to see wtf it was all about!

To be homest i think i may of been a stoner in a past life because for as long as i can remember before i'd even smoked and before i even knew what a spliff/joint was i used to roll my bus tickest into a cone shape.

Anyway i didn want to try smoking for a few years but as none of my friends smoked or knew where to get some from the oppertunity never presented it's self to me.

Until i was 18 that was.

After a terribile year in which i lost both parents and was more intersted in trying cannabis for a number of reasons than i had ever been i was in clacton on sea (Essex) staying at my gf's house. We had an argument i was asked to leave by her parents and i found myself on the streets with no way of getting home until morning. I ended up banging on the door of a man who used to be married to my best mates mum. I explained what had happend he let me in then asked me the question.

"Are you ready to smoke"

I didn't want to smoke... got introduced to Alcohol during my first year of highschool... got introduced to smoking the following year... Then I started trying other things like Mushrooms and Ecstasy and Salvia... then I started experimenting, but my true love has been for Mushrooms and other psychedelics of the sort.
