hey guys, sorry for the long post but if you know anything about cooking please help me out . if youve read my other thread you know the story, but i found this on a site and was wondering if it would work if i ditched the last part, like if i forget the almonds and offering it to shiva and all that stuff.

Indian Bhang

2 cups water 1 ounce marijuana (fresh leaves and flowers of a female plant preferred)

4 cups warm milk

2 tablespoons blanched and chopped almonds

1/8 teaspoon garam masala [a mixture of cloves, cinnamon, and cardamon]

1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger

1/2 to 1 teaspoon rosewater

1 cup sugar

Bring the water to a rapid boil and pour into a clean teapot. Remove any seeds or twigs from the marijuana, add it to the teapot and cover. Let this brew for about 7 minutes. Now strain the water and marijuana through a piece of muslin cloth, collect the water and save. Take the leaves and flowers and squeeze between your hands to extract any liquid that remains. Add this to the water. Place the leaves and flowers in a mortar and add 2 teaspoons warm milk. Slowly but firmly grind the milk and leaves together. Gather up the marijuana and squeeze out as much milk as you can. Repeat this process until you have used about 1/2 cup of milk (about 4 to 5 times).

Collect all the milk that has been extracted and place in a bowl. By this time the marijuana will have turned into a pulpy mass. Add the chopped almonds and some more warm milk. Grind this in the mortar until a fine paste is formed. Squeeze this paste and collect the extract as before. Repeat a few more times until all that is left are some fibers and nut meal. Discard the residue. Combine all the liquids that have been collected, including the water the marijuana was brewed in. Add to this the garam masala, dried ginger and rosewater. Add the sugar and remaining milk. Chill, serve, and enjoy. It seems a bit labor intensive, but then it is meant as an offering to Shiva.

i also dont really understand the last part, it says "add this to the garam masala, dried finger and rosewater. add the sugar and remaining milk." cant i just make the first part of the recipe and drink it? im kinda confused. it also says use an ounce of flowers and leaves. can i just use like 5gs of bud instead? thanks guys sorry for the long post.

@ the original poster: repost this on the cooking forum and you'll probably have more luck. If you want to efficiently get the THC out of cannabis, your best bets are butter or high proof liquor.

The easiest way to make THC food is to take butter and melt it in a pan. Add ground herb (however much you want). Keep the butter simmering (don't burn it or it will taste bad and it might not work as well) for (1-2 hours? not sure). After you're done, strain out the buds, squeeze out any butter soaked into them, repeat the process if you want to make sure to get all the THC out of the buds, then throw the buds away. THC is soluble in fat, so the melter butter you end up with is perfect for making special brownies, space cakes, or whaever other fun recipes you can come up with.

ok thanks solistus, two probs tho, cant smell up the kitchen, parents would flip a bitch. and two, i cant make a big batch of the stuff cuz i cant keep it in the fridge. so if i found a solution to the stench problem, i would have to find the most accurate ratio of weed to butter. preferably using like 2gs of weed at a time. so i would make enough butter at a time for one trip. then id just smear it on some toast and yea.

bump...cmon guys i just need a recipe that will work. im thinking about firecrackers but i dont want them to smell, and are u supposed to put tinfoil around htem? and if so will it reduce smell? i know im fucking annoying just help me and ill leave every1 alone.
