I make sure my kids spend at least twelve hours a week reading at the beggining it was tough trying to get them to read books now they are avid readers my 7 year old reads from a book every night before bed and hardly uses her play station now so harvethetic you are bang on all kids should spend some time reading as it broadens their horizon and helps there education ten fold and ive read all the books you have on your list and many more there is nothing better than a cou[ple of joints a cup of coffee and a good book its my way to escape the pain of my illness when i have a good book i get lost in it as with the davinci code good read
