    im killing my seedlings

i must be doing something wrong.. ive had the same problems with my feminized white widows, feminized cinderella 99s, feminized grapefruits, and my feminized cinnamon plants all from femaleseeds.nl @ the Doc. It's not their product, im 100% sure its an error on my part. However , I keep frying my seedlings some how. I germinate using the common paper towel method and once the taproot is out about half an inch i go to plant into soil about 1/8" under the surface with it lightly packed and keep water in the pot daily so the tray under it maintains half-full of water. I've also tried placing the seed straight from the paper towel to the hydroton rocks in my aeroponic setup, its worked a couple times but pretty much it seems once they break the surface they fry. What could I be doing wrong? I'm not sure what the temp is in the closet but I'm using a 400w MH bulb for veg and 400 HPS bulb for flowering. the light is about 2' off the surface and I have a fan blowing over it to keep the heat circulating off of it. Anyone experience problems like this or have any suggestions? I have mylar on all sides and on the bottom of the surface and a reflector over the top of the light as well. pretty much all around reflection. my last grow with bag seeds went fine but that was before mylar was up. maybe its reflecting all the heat as well causing overheating problems? if this is the matter whats a good way to cut down on the heat in the closet? keep in mind its in an apartment that stays about 68-72 year-round. PLEASE HELP!

    PONICS 101

PH a bucket of water to 5.0
soak rockwool cubes in that water for 24 hours
get a cfl.. 100 watts will be fine (5 dollars) - keep light 5 inches from cubes

put seeds in rockwool cubes.. 1/4 inch down
keep cubes wet with 6.0 water
keep light over cubes 23 hours a day (seeds should sprout 1-7days)
    After seeds sprout,
keep watering cubes with ph water 6.0 (don't move the light, let the seedlings grow as close to the light as possible without raising it)
when roots come out bottom of cube (1x1x1)..
put cubes into bigger cubes 2x4x4
add another cfl or 2 or 3...

keep watering seedlings with ph 6.5 water

when the roots come out the bottom of the large rockwool cubes, plant cubes in 3 gallon pots.
    soil mixed with 20% perlite..

    FOOL PROOF
    FULL PROOF

    I love you

can't you just skip this part and just put the seeds in the 2x4x4 from the very start?

I just sprouted seeds under a 1000w light so the only problem is probably lack of ventalation.

A very young newly sprouted seed can be very heat sensative. that young and that vulnerable @ 2'below light right now. Raise the light 8 inches or so, and see what happens.
