A failed attempt - too little, too late.

On Sept. 12, 2001, a massive, mysterious pattern-bombing mission in the al-Qaeda-infected mountains of Afghanistan, and along the Paki-Afghani border, should have rocked that part of the world. Maybe a few nukes would have helped to reinforce the message. Bush should have then issued his condolences, and swore to help track down the guilty party, or parties, responsible for the attack(s). That would have made a big difference and this mistake, on Jan. 13, 2006, would not have had to happen. All of our Homeland Security would have been much less necessary had somebody done this.
