2toker Reviewed by 2toker on 01-15-2006. alcohol shock is it possible for somebody to get kind of an "alcohol shock" during the 1st year or so of trying alcohol until the body gets used to it? Im 18, (sheltered life lol) only tried alcohol for the 1st time a few months ago and i only have it once in a wile, would this cause abnormal effects like intense hangovers and weird dizziness? I know thatâ??s normal, but i get it every time i have just a few, and I thought maybe the hangovers get less and less worse as you drink more regularly. Rating: 5

I gave up drinking 10 years ago after 10 years of drinking. its nasty
but I did use to make beer and in a brewing book I had I got a hangover defense method that works......
before you go to bed drink as much water as possible and take a few vitamins.
the water rehydrates you and the vitamins restore vitamins in your brain that the alcohol robs you of.

Yup water and multi-vitamins will always prevent a hangover, but I've never had a hangover either, even on newyears where i had alcohol poisoning i woke up kinda groggy but it wore off as soon as i started moving around.

...first time i drank i had 7 beers.....i was stumbleing all over ocean city maryland....but nicely i called some girls said some dumb shit fell asleep and woke up next morning with no hang over what so ever

Alcohol in 'moderation' is perfectly fine! It's when you let it control you, that it gets to be a problem. True, it's much more dangerous than weed, but don't sell it short. Alcohol can have its good points, too.

Hangovers and dizziness? My friend, it sounds like you got drunk and had a hangover. It's normal. Can't say it's healthy, but it happens...I have them if I exceed my alcohol tolerance level...I swear it can feel like you're at death's door...miserable!
