RedRainDrop I actually do have an idea as to the number of MDMA induced fatalities, you obviously don't. In the year 2000 there were about 60 deaths due to the use of MDMA. The consensus is that approximately 2 per 100,000 ecstasy (MDMA) users will die due to severe negative reactions. It wouldn't be very far from the truth to say that almost nobody dies from ecstasy.
For anybody who has seen the ABC special "Ecstasy Rising" (highly recommended) it would appear that MDMA was scheduled for making drug users look too good.

Im 99 percent sure that when you take too much acid, your body just stores it. So, when your brain runs out of lsd, it gets more form wherever ur brain stored it. It doesnt all get used at once, it gets used over a long period of time and this is where the myth came from thats something like "if you take too much you will trip forever".
You'll trip for a fucking long ass time that may feel like forever, but it cant be more than a few days or maybe a week. You cannot die from it unless you decide to kill yourself when you think you are going to trip forever. It would take a fuckload of acid to do this, though.

I guess if you mean overdose as in take too much and freak out, yes thats possible, but I mean overdose as in taking enough to die.

When used properly and safely, MDMA isn't that bad for you. It's still not great for your body, but as long as you stay hydrated and don't mix it with thing it's not supposed to be mixed with, using it once won't cause any problems. I suggest that you read the available literature (erowid.org is, as always, a good place to start) and decide for yourself if it's something you're willing to try. For those that decide that MDMA is safe enough for their personal standards, I recommend trying it at least once; rolling is a much more interesting experience than most people expect (it's more than just being really happy for a couple hours).
