Thank you for stopping by bkskillz! Great minds think alike. Nice grow.
I got the idea from Nimby on overgrow.com for the buckets. In fact I am pretty much copying everything he did.
Now for the 8 AM update, 1/14/2006. Not too much of a difference from the picture I posted at 5 AM this morning. I did cut off the brown scar tissue off the right plant. It seemed like it wanted to open, but was stuck because of the scar tissue. I also had to help this one out of its seed coat. Stay tuned, same bat channel, same bat time.

Ok, here's the 6 PM report, Saturday January 14, 2006. There is no change on top from this morning. There must be alot of root activity going on below the soil. The poor plant on the right, continues to struggle for survival. Still has not opened the cotyledon leaves. Outside today was overcast and rain. Protected the seedlings by putting a clear plastic lid on them. I'm keeping them on 24/7 light by bringing them in at night and using fluoros. That's all for now.
Stay tuned same bat time, same bat channel.

Ok, here's the lastest the 8:30 AM morning report. The one on the left has stretched somemore. I did have them 2" from the fluoros, so I guess it's due to genetics. Took them outside and took their picture. The one on the right has green on the cotyledon parts now and still is not open. The leaf is peeking out a bit more now. This was the first bean to pot, so I'm still not giving up on her. It's sunny here is so cal, clear skies, temperatures in the 70's. Have a great day! Stay tuned same bat time, same bat channel.

Thanks for your kind words, Loc. What do I have to lose by keeping her? Besides, she keeps the other one company.

Here is the 5 PM report. The stunted one on the right had a flap of dead tissue holding the two cotyledon parts together. Once I cut that the plant went BONG. Ladies and Gentlemen it is now open. Now we should see some good top growing going on. The one on the left is looking healthy and dark green for such a young wipersnapper.
The oven grow. That's right the oven grow has sprouted 2 of the 8 white widow seeds. That's all folks. Stay tuned, same bat time, same bat channel.

Here is the 12AM midnight report Sunday January 16, 2006. The big girl on the left has grown taller, her name is Big Bertha. She is sticking her head out of the top of the container and looking around. Her sister on the right is still very short, but alert and happy, now that she has become unstuck. Her name is Mini. So there you have it Big Bertha and Mini, folks.
Stay tuned same bat channel, same bat time.

Thanks, Loc.
Good morning. Here's the 8 AM report. According to the thermometer outside it is a chilly 40 degrees here in sunny so cal. Big Bertha and Mini were taken outside to get their light therapy. Burrr. They are both looking good. Nice deep dark green. No fertilizer burns (they have not had anything to eat yet). No browning yet.
The second batch of young ladies is up and running. After a night of restful sleep in the oven 7 of 8 beauties have sprouted. They have been put outside in the shade. It's a nice clear sunny day today.
Thanks for tuning in folks, stay tuned, same bat time, same bat channel. This is Gen signing off at the marijuana farm. Have a great day!
