need a little input about child abusing neighbors

well if you're a normal person you know of course the saftey of a child is way more important then a grow, which can be fixed within months, whereas if things keep up this way, at the very least that kid could grow up with problems, be abusive himself and all that, or it could escelate to andrea yates type shit. if i was you, i'd either scrap my grow, or find a person to take it on for a few weeks first, then call the cops... there's no reason you should go to jail just because you are looking out for the kids and the parents get mad at you and retaliate... because you will go to jail alot longer for your grow then they will for the abuse... i wouldn't just sit by and let it keep going on, i'd do something about it asap... if you don't want to scrap your grow for it, if you have a crimestoppers program in your area... i would suggest doing your best to disguise it as good as possible (of course if these neighbors know about this grow, you'll be screwed) and call crime stoppers and report anonymously... don't tell crime stoppers anything that would give you away.. just tell them you know the kids are being abused, and you'd like them to go check it out, don't give them details of it, or any of that... because the more details you give, the more it could single people out, if you just report abuse and they go looking into it, then all that he parents will know is that someone reported them for abuse, not specifics, which could be just about anyone, where as if you give details, (especially if the kids are hardly ever seen) they could single out everyone that could of possibly seen these details, and narrow it down from there...

ok, you are all so right. She does not know about my grow, and it is well disguised in my basement.I can report her anonymously, but I am afraid she will know it is me, sometimes we meet on the front porch and she gets so angry and agressive, and the kid stands there with his hands outstretched, crying to me , but not any more, coz I have never saved him, and he is still being hurt. But why would someone tell their neighbour that they smacked their kid, its like she is torturing me

Personally, I'd either wait 'til the bud filled out, or I'd get rid of it before I reported anybody (if I was paranoid about it).

that kids life is worth more that a pound, i dunno clear out all your plants and put some dwarf trees there(the leaves look like pot leaves so you can claim that she mistook them for hemp) and say your growing them as pot plants (pun not intended) and took them in for the winter from out side. at any rate be carful you may want to save his life but you dont want to ruin yours in the process.

actually in some states an anonymous tip does give enough reasonable doubt for them to legally search, of course they would have to get a judge to give a warrant... but i don't believe i've never met a judge not hell bent on putting "druggies" behind bars..
